Online self-paced training
Is available on WebCT or via the Grants.gov Using Cayuse website.
Hands-on training
PIs, RSAs and analysts may log-in to the Grants.gov Cayuse training website to gain hands-on experience with the Cayuse system before utilizing the live Cayuse site on 12/20/06.
Grants.gov Cayuse training site is for practice only. Information entered into the Grants.gov Cayuse training site will not be saved or sent to NIH.
It is suggested that one complete the online self-paced training before one can log-on to the Grants.gov Cayuse training site.
Training is optional but highly recommended.
If you are a RSA administrator with a user ID in RAS you will automatically be given a Grants.gov Cayuse training account. Log-on as follows:
If your attempt to log-in to the Grants.gov Cayuse training site is unsuccessful, ORUser Name: first initial last name

Calendar of Project Events
Grants.gov Cayuse will soon be unveiled to campus users who are submitting electronic proposals for the NIH 2/5/07 deadline in December. Please review the project events calendar and the preparation guidelines to properly prepare for this deployment.

What you can do right now to prepare to use Cayuse to submit NIH applications via Grants.gov?
- For PIs only: create an account on the NIH Commons if you don’t already have one. Contact Stephen Dorsey via email or via phone @ 476-0999.
- Confirm you have Mozilla Firefox PC and Mac) or Internet Explorer (PC only) as a web browser.
- Make sure you have the ability to download files onto your desktop. Contact your department’s Computer Support Coordinator (CSC) if needed.
