Research Online

Is the web site "Live?"

Research Online is linked directly to the Office of Research database. As soon as information is entered into the database, it is available on the web site. Results are typically logged within one working day after the meeting. (See CHR Meeting Dates)

Can I have a User ID and password?

You will be assigned a User ID and temporary password if you are listed as the Principal Investigator, Co-Principal Investigator, or Contact Person on the CHR Application Cover Page.

How do I get a User ID and password?

Submit a request for a User ID and password by completing the online form at https://www.researchonline.ucsf.edu. The response can take two or more working days, depending on the number of requests.

What if I forget my User ID or password?

If you cannot recall your User ID and password, please call 476-1300 and request that it be reset.

Whose studies can I see?

Users are granted access to only those studies on which they are identified as the PI, Co-PI or Contact Person of record. Any other investigators listed in the application are not logged into the database and will not be able to access the study.
