POST-DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS

A postdoctoral scholar who submits a fellowship application to a for-profit entity must complete and submit the original of the disclosure form "Statement of Economic Interests for Principal Investigators" (FPPC Form 700-U).

Form 700-U is not required for a fellowship application to a non-profit entity, except as follows: Form 700-U is required when a faculty member or individual who is not a registered postdoctoral scholar submits an application for an advanced fellowship to a non-profit entity and that entity is not on the "List of Non-Governmental Entities Exempt From Disclosure Requirement."

These proposals are processed at UCSF as grants because they do not support registered postdoctoral scholars.
